This series of Books is really good. It's kind of like the psuedo/psychotic morphing of our current world that taken over by a mutating of humans to fill the non-complying civil role of avatars and added on with an innate whacked out creative mind that Neil Stephenson never lacks. It really does shift into an absurdity with sensitive details that leave you kind of feeling free and shed a lot of personal social standards.
